Sukhvir makes his debut for Leicestershire

Indian reality series ‘Cricket Star’ winner Sukhvir Singh made his debut for Leicestershire against Derbyshire in the second XI Championships, bowling 3 overs without taking a wicket. Son of a bus driver, the 20 year old right hand pacer from Chandigarh arrived at Grace Road last week to spend the summer with the Leicestershire squad. Nicknamed ‘Happy’ in the show, Sukhvir was under the spotlight as he made his debut after taking 3 for 13 for his Everards Premier League Club Leicester Ivanhoe at the weekend.
