Sukhvir Singh headed for a five month stint with Leicestershire county cricket club

Sukhvir Singh, a talented medium – pacer from Chandigarh has made the cut for a five month stint with the Leicestershire County Club in England after winning Cricket Star talent hunt competition. During the tenure, Singh will be trained by senior coach Timothy Boon. “I am looking forward to practicing my craft there”, said the 20-year-old. “I have heard that English pitches support fast bowlers. I will look to fine tune my skills in those conditions as much as possible so that I come back prepared to play for India in the near future”, said Sukhvir, who has represented Mohali at U-19 and u-22 district level.
